Production of bamboo fibre
Bamboo fibre is a kind of regenerated cellulose fibre, which is produced from raw materials of bamboo pulp using our unique patented technology. First, bamboo pulp is refined from bamboo through a process of hydrolysis-alkalisation and multi-phase bleaching. We then process the bamboo pulp into bamboo fibre. Repeated tests have proved that it has strong durability, stability and tenacity. And the thinness and degree of whiteness of bamboo fibre are similar to classic viscose.
Bamboo and its advantages
Compared to other fabrics, bamboo fibre has the following advantages
- Natural antibacterial effect
- Green and biodegradable
- Breathable and Cool
Natural antibacterial effect
Bamboo fibre has particular, natural antibacterial, bacteriostasis and deodorisation functions. It has been proved by the Japanese Textile Inspection Association that, even after fifty washes, bamboo fibre fabric still possesses excellent antibacterial and bacteriostasis functions.
Green & biodegradable
As a regenerated cellulose fibre, bamboo fibre was made 100% from bamboo using a high-tech process. The raw bamboo material is well-selected from a non-polluted region of China. The whole production process in the plant is a green process, without pollution. It produces a natural and eco-friendly fibre without chemical additives. What's more, bamboo fibre is biodegradable fabric material. Bamboo fibre comes from nature, and returns completely to nature in the end.
Breathable and Cool
What's notable about bamboo fibre is its unusual breathability and coolness. Because a cross-section of the bamboo fibre is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, it has much better moisture absorption and ventilation. With this unparalleled micro-structure, bamboo fibre apparel can absorb and evaporate human sweat in a split second. Its anti-UV nature is suitable for making summer clothing, especially for protecting children and pregnant women against ultraviolet radiation.
